Police Challenge at the Chicago Triathlon
The 2nd annual Police Challenge (aka Law Enforcement Challenge) will take place at the Chicago Triathlon on August 30, 2009. We are challenging all members of Law Enforcement to train for and complete this olympic distance event. In 2008, the members of the Chicago Police triathlon team jumped into Lake Michigan alongside members of the FBI and NYPD triathlon teams in the early morning hours of what turned out to be a perfect day to race. The FBI turned in the fastest individual time, but the CPD had the fastest team average.
It's our hope to grow the event in 2009 to include members of law enforcement agencies from the surrounding area as well as around the state. If you're a member of law enforcement and are interested in representing your department, send us an email.
